Individual Therapy

Therapy can take a number of different forms. I work collaboratively with each person in order to create an individual therapy which is tailored to their own goals and circumstances. My experience has shown that an integrative approach to individual work is most effective, in practice this often means  moving between therapeutic modalities including Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnotherapy,  Systemic Constellations, Focusing and Mindfulness. 

 

The under-pinning ethos for all my work is an attitude of openess, respect and compassion. Nevertheless, the success of any therapeutic relationship also hinges on both parties being willing to work together in order to be able to co-create the conditions for positive change. For this reason I recommend an initial exploratory session, without obligation, so that each of us can gain a sense of the other in order to explore the possibilities of working together.
